Resource Management Reports

This document focuses on the explaining details of all reports developed under Iteration One of resource management.

Summary :

Explanation :

• This screen user can view summary of the cross project assignments of all resources who are members of selected business for the 6 months period from selected start month and year.

This drop down list holds all businesses list, user is member of.

This grid shows the group wise assignments of resources who are members of selected business from selected start month and year to next 6 months.

• This screen shows total hours of all tasks of the project for each month with a link, on clicking this link, a popup will open showing the task details of selected month of that resource.

This popup screen opens after clicking on link of grid value, which displays the task details of that particular month's and project's.

Free Time : shows the total hours available as [Total 6 months work hrs. – total assigned hrs.] Calculating work hours of a single month by calculating number of work days in a month.

Note : In the group summary of all resources, if in particular month task assignmed hours becomes more than working hours in a month it will show in red.

Tasks Assigned :

Explanation :

• On this screen user can view details of the cross project assignments of all resources who are members of selected business in selected period of start and end date range.

This drop down list holds all businesses list user is member of.

This grid shows the assignments of resources who are members of selected business for selected period from start date to end date.

• The assignments shown here are the tasks assigned to the particular resource when the task is created in the project which belongs to the selected business.

Project Summary :

Explanation :

• This screen shows Assignment Summary for all resources who are members of selected business of selected project from the list of all projects which belongs to selected business.

This drop down list holds all businesses list, user is member of.

These are the projects user is members of the Business selected, loaded on change of Business without refreshing the page.

Grid shows single project assignment selected from Project drop down list in hours for every month of 12 months period starting from selected start month year, of all resources who are member of selected business.

• Other projects are all other projects rather than selected project assigned to the resource.

• Group summary shows sum of every months assigned hours, it will show in red if the sum gets more than working hours in a month.

Reserve By Resource :

Explanation :

• Using this screen user can reserve the project by selecting drop down in grid to the Selected Resource in percentage for any of the 8 months period displayed.

This drop down list holds all businesses list, user is member of.

These are the resources who are members of the Business selected, loaded on change of Business without refreshing the page.

These are the projects of selected business and loaded when the user selects the business, start month – year and clicks on View button. By default this combo box will hold the projects of all businesses user is member of.

This is the reservation data for selected resource in the range from selected start month and year. By default it will take current month and year as start month year. This grid will load when user selects business, start month – year and clicks on View button. By default grid will show the project reservation data of the resource who occurs first in the drop down list of resources who are members of all businesses user is member of.

Reserve By Project :

Explanation :

• Using this screen user can reserve the Resource by selecting drop down in grid to the selected Project in percentage for any of the 8 months period displayed.

This drop down list holds all businesses list, user is member of.

These are the projects user is members of the Business selected, loaded on change of Business without refreshing the page.

These are the resources of selected business and loaded when the user selects the business, start month – year and clicks on View button. By default this combo box will hold the resources of all businesses user is member of.

This is the reservation data for selected project in the range from selected start month and year. By default it will take current month and year as start month year. This grid will load when user selects business, start month – year and clicks on View button. By default grid will show the resource reservation data of the project which occurs first in the drop down list of projects which are project of all businesses user is member of.

View By Resource:

Explanation :

• Using this screen user can view reservations of resource for particular project.

This drop down list holds all businesses list, user is member of.

This report shows project reservation in percentage for all resources who are member of selected business from selected start month year to next eight months. By default it displays data for all resources of all businesses user is member of, from current start month year to next eights months. But user can filter data on the basis of business and start month year.

• This report shows the project reservation which are entered in reservation entry report (by resource / by project)

Green cells indicate that the resource is unreserved(not reserved to any projects) for that month.

Yellow cells indicate that the resource is reserved but less than 100% for that month.

Red cells indicate that the resource is reserved more than 100% for that month.

Reserved Vs. Assigned (By Resource) :

Explanation :

• Using this screen user can view reservation vs. assignments of resources who are members of selected business in 4 months period from selected start month and year.

This drop down list holds all businesses list, user is member of.

This report shows reservation data with assignment of project for resources who are the member of selected business. By default this report shows reservation and assignment of all resources of all businesses user is member of, from current start month year to next four months. But user can filter data on basis of business and start month year.

This popup screen opens after clicking on link of grid value, which displays the task details of that particular month's and project's. Along the task detail this popup shows the hours reserved and hours assigned for that particular month too.

Red cells show resources that are being assigned more than they were reserved to a project.

• Every column data is utilized reservation in percent, calculated by following formula:

Utilized reservation = assigned / reserved * 100.
