Reserved Vs. Assigned (By Resource):

Explanation:

• Using this screen user can view reservation vs. assignments of resources who are members of selected business in 12 months period from selected start month and year.

This drop down list holds all businesses list, user is member of.

This report shows reservation data with assignment of project for resources who are the member of selected business.

• By default this report shows reservation Vs assignment of all resources of all businesses user is member of, from current start month year to next eleven months. But user can filter data on basis of business and start month year.

• Grid values are the percentage of assignment over reservation of particular month and project.

• If assigned hours is more than reserved hour than Reserved Vs Assigned data will be over than hundred percent that means over utilization of resource for that particular moth and project.

• If assigned or reserved hour is zero for any month and project, then Reserved Vs Assigned data displays as ‘--’ and there is no link to show detail, otherwise it displays Reserved Vs Assigned data of that particular moth and project with a link which will display the task’s detail, assigned hours and reserved hours for that particular month.

This popup screen opens after clicking on link of grid value, which displays the task details of that particular month and project.

• The pop displays complete detail of task, so task start and end date could be expanded on displayed month.

• The light blue rows shows there is no progress in work and yellow rows show work is in progress or it has been completed

• Along the task detail this popup shows the hours reserved and hours assigned for that particular month too.

Red cells shows resources that are being assigned more than they were reserved to a project.

• Every column data is utilized reservation in percent, calculated by following formula: Utilized reservation = assigned / reserved * 100.

Data Explanation:

The Resource who have assignment as well as reservation between a time periods are displaying here. If there are any one value assignment or reservation is missing or zero than it displaying as '--'. Here some Reserved Vs Assigned data are displaying for the resource 'Dustin Kassman' for month Feb08 to Aug08 and for RM_Project, because reservation and assignment both are available between the time periods for the resource. So now Reserved Vs Assigned data of resource 'Dustin Kassman':

• For the month Feb08 we have given 67.67% reservation (or 112.01Hrs reservation for the month) and assignment 129Hrs, we have already seen in Summary report. Therefore Reserved Vs Assigned data for the month will be, (129/112.01)*100 = 115.17% which is displaying in grid. And if we click on link 115.17% we can see task detail of that month and total assignment hours and reservation hours for the particular month.

• Similarly for the month Mar08 we have given 67.67% reservation (or 112.01Hrs reservation for the month) and assignment 131Hrs so Reserved Vs Assigned will be (131/112.01)*100 = 116.95%.

• And for the month Apr08 we have given 67.67% reservation (or 117.34Hrs reservation for the month) and assignment 101Hrs so Reserved Vs Assigned will be (101/117.34)*100 = 86.07%.

The same calculation procedure is followed for all month and all resources.

If we notice we have given reservation to 'Dustin Kassman' from feb08 to sep08 but he have no assignment in month sep08 so here month sep08 is displaying as '--'. And for all other resources, there are no reservation so it is displaying as '--' for all months.
